These terms govern your use of this website. They are not our terms of appointment. The terms on which we provide architectural services are set out separately, in the fee proposal and appointment documents we issue to each client.

Nothing here is professional advice
This is the most important thing on this page. We publish guides, articles and commentary on planning, and we do so in good faith. All of it is general information. None of it is professional advice, and none of it is advice about your site.

We take care to keep this site accurate and current, and the project figures we publish are drawn from the public planning record. Even so, we do not warrant that the site is complete, accurate or free of error, and we may change its content at any time without notice.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website, and in particular we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of opportunity.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse this site. In particular you must not use it for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to any server or system connected to it, introduce any malicious code, or use any automated system to extract material from it in a way that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
Links to other sites
Where we link to other websites, including planning portals and our social media profiles, we do so for convenience. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content.

How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, and the cookies this site uses are set out in our Cookie Policy. Both form part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed, and the version in force is the one published here when you use the site.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
