Brief

RA were appointed from Stage 0 to begin the process of establishing the maximum capacity for development on the site, determining the developable area and devising a planning strategy which mitigates the constraints of the Tree Protection Orders and neighbouring listed building. 

The client wanted to break the mould and bring to market an exciting new style of development. Situated only a 2min walk from Kenilworth High Street this ideal location is surrounded by a variety of architectural styles leaving the site open to a contemporary and luxury style development.

Planning permission was consented for a unique solution for the sensitive site, situated within a conservation area. Located next to a grade II listed building and multiple protected trees the useable area for development was maximised.

Squeezing between the root protection areas and taking advantage of the change in level on site 7 luxury apartments were able to all achieve south facing living spaces with no communal spaces, 2-3 bedrooms and private gardens.
