Job Type: Full Time

An exciting opportunity is currently available for an Architectural Technologist within our Leamington Spa Office.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2-3 years’ relevant UK experience as an Architectural Technologist, working within the residential sector. You will have a firm understanding of regulatory requirements and good technical knowledge of construction, primarily for residential projects. 

Your role will involve the development of detailed technical drawings and specifications for the full range of new build and residential conversion projects. You will work closely with the internal design team and external consultants in order to produce accurate detailed construction information for tender and construction.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Proficient in Revit 2021
  • Proficient in Autocad 2021
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • A construction related qualification, minimum HNC
  • A thorough knowledge of the UK Building Regulations and firm understanding of UK construction methods.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with practical evidence of the production of technical information to a high technical standard (Plans, Sections, Elevations, Schedule and Details).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong collaborative internal and external working relationships.
  • The ability to be self-motivated and to work to set deadlines.
  • Own transport and driving licence.

Desirable skills and experience:

  • A degree in Architectural Technology, ARB, or equivalent Architectural qualification.
  • Site experience and working closely with contractors.
  • NBS specification writing software.
  • ACIAT/MCIAT
  • Adobe design suite including illustrator and photoshop.
