Vale Walk
Vale walk is part of a the larger Hampton Village development, assembled by O and H Properties and sold off in parcels to housing developers. Comprising 24 units, the site is adjacent to a new Primary School and opposite the lakes constructed for, amongst other reasons, use as balancing ponds for the surface water design solution.
The planning authority, over the course of the development, amended their design brief to encourage a more contemporary approach to housing design. ARA took the brief and developed a suite of house types in partnership with Hazelton Homes that combine to produce a cohesive and visually stimulating development. The scheme was nominated for the East Anglia Building Excellence Awards, 2009
